இந்திய சினிமாவில் புதிய வரலாற்றை உருவாக்கத் தயாராக இருக்கும் “பேட்ரியாட்” -படத்தின் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ வெளியீட்டு தேதி அட்டகாசமன போஸ்டருடன் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த பிரம்மாண்டமான படத்தின் வெளியீட்டு தேதி அறிவிக்கும் போஸ்டரை, 40-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட முன்னணி நட்சத்திரங்கள் சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பகிர்ந்துள்ளனர். மகேஷ் நாராயணன் இயக்கத்தில், மம்மூட்டி மற்றும் மோகன்லால் முன்னணி கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ள இந்த மல்டி-ஸ்டாரர் திரைப்படம், 2026 ஏப்ரல் 23 அன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.

Take Off மற்றும் Malik படங்களுக்குப் பிறகு, இயக்குநர் மகேஷ் நாராயணன் “பேட்ரியாட்” திரைப்படத்தை சர்வதேச அளவிலான ஸ்பை திரில்லர் (Spy Thriller) படமாக, விரிந்த களத்துடன் மற்றும் நவீன தொழில்நுட்ப தரத்துடன் உருவாக்கியுள்ளார். அதிகமான நாடுகளில் படமாக்கப்பட்ட மலையாள திரைப்படம் என்ற பெருமையையும் இந்த படம் பெற்றுள்ளது. இந்தியா, இலங்கை,The UK, அசர்பைஜான் மற்றும் ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகம் (UAE) ஆகிய நாடுகளில் இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றுள்ளது. 2024 நவம்பரில் இலங்கையில் தொடங்கிய படப்பிடிப்பு, இந்தியாவில் டெல்லி, மும்பை, ஹைதராபாத், கொச்சி போன்ற முக்கிய நகரங்களில் நடைபெற்றது.

A Historic Moment for Indian Cinema; Mammootty – Mohanlal – Mahesh Narayanan Film “Patriot” to Hit Theatres on April 23
The release date poster of “Patriot”, a film poised to create new history in Malayalam cinema, has been unveiled. The poster announcing the release date of this mega venture was released on social media by more than forty prominent stars. Directed by Mahesh Narayanan and featuring the legendary actors Mammootty and Mohanlal in the lead roles, this multi-starrer film will have a worldwide theatrical release on April 23, 2026.
The Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi posters of the film were unveiled by Vijay Deverakonda, Atlee, and Karan Johar respectively. In Malayalam, the release date poster was shared by nearly forty actors including Dulquer Salman, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Unni Mukundan, Basil Joseph, Jayasurya, Sunny Wayne, Naslen, Nazriya Nazim, Keerthy Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and many others.
Recently, character posters featuring Mammootty and Mohanlal—who play the central roles—along with Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Rajeev Menon were also released. These posters carried the striking tagline:
The film is produced by Anto Joseph Film Company and Kichappu Films, jointly by Anto Joseph and K. G. Anilkumar. Co-production is handled by C. R. Salim and Subhash George Manuel under the banners C. R. Salim Productions and Blue Tigers London. Executive producers are C. V. Sarathi and Rajesh Krishna.
Reuniting Mammootty and Mohanlal after 17 years, Patriot is being made on the biggest budget ever for a Malayalam film. The movie was completed earlier this year after more than a year of filming across over ten schedules in multiple countries. After Twenty:20, this is another film that brings together almost all major stars of Malayalam cinema.
Apart from Mammootty, Mohanlal, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Rajeev Menon, the ensemble cast also includes Revathi, Jinu Joseph, Danish Husain, Shaheen Siddique, Sanal Aman, Darshana Rajendran, Serene Shihab, and noted theatre artist and filmmaker Prakash Belawadi (known for Madras Cafe and Pathaan).
Following Take Off and Malik, director Mahesh Narayanan presents Patriot as an international-scale spy thriller with expansive canvas and cutting-edge technical excellence. The film currently holds the distinction of being the Malayalam movie shot in the highest number of countries. Locations include India, Sri Lanka, the UK, Azerbaijan, and the UAE. Filming began in Sri Lanka in November 2024, with Indian schedules shot across major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kochi.
The title teaser of Patriot, released earlier, garnered massive audience attention and hinted that powerful action sequences featuring Mammootty and Mohanlal would be major highlights. The teaser also showcased the two legends in all their grandeur, promising a film with unprecedented technical finesse for Malayalam cinema. The screenplay has been written by director Mahesh Narayanan himself.
