தமிழ்நாடு அரசுக்கு மனமார்ந்த நன்றி தெரிவித்துள்ள மாலதி லக்ஷ்மண் முதலமைச்சர் திரு. மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் அவர்களை சந்தித்து வாழ்த்து பெற்றார்
இசை மற்றும் கலைகளை வளர்த்து ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையில் செயல்பட்டு வரும் தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா இசை மற்றும் கவின் கலைப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஆட்சி மன்றக் குழு உறுப்பினராக பிரபல பின்னணி பாடகி கலைமாமணி மாலதி லக்ஷ்மணை தமிழ்நாடு அரசு நியமித்துள்ளது.
மூத்த அதிகாரிகள், மக்கள் பிரதிநிதிகள், கலைஞர்கள் மற்றும் கல்வியாளர்களைக் கொண்டு அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள புதிய ஆட்சி மன்றக் குழுவில் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளது குறித்து மாலதி லக்ஷ்மண் மகிழ்ச்சியும் பெருமிதமும் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இது தொடர்பாக தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் திரு. மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் அவர்களை தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில் சந்தித்த மாலதி லக்ஷ்மண், தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா இசை மற்றும் கவின் கலைப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஆட்சி மன்றக் குழு உறுப்பினராக தன்னை நியமித்ததற்காக நன்றி தெரிவித்து முதல்வரின் வாழ்த்துகளை பெற்றார்.
நியமனம் குறித்து பேசிய அவர், “அரசு அளித்துள்ள இந்த மிகப்பெரிய அங்கீகாரம் மிகுந்த உற்சாகத்தையும் உத்வேகத்தையும் அளிக்கிறது. இசைத் துறைக்கு வலுவூட்ட என்னால் ஆன அனைத்து பங்களிப்பையும் வழங்கி, அனைவரின் ஒத்துழைப்போடு இசை மற்றும் இதர கலைகளை கற்கும் மாணவர்களை ஊக்குவிப்பேன்,” என்று தெரிவித்தார்.
திரைப்பட பின்னணி மற்றும் மேடைப் பாடகியான மாலதி லக்ஷ்மண், பல சூப்பர் ஹிட் பாடல்களை பாடியுள்ளதோடு, தன்னுடைய கணவர் லக்ஷ்மண் கடந்த நான்கு தசாப்தங்களாக வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தி வரும் லக்ஷ்மன் ஸ்ருதி இசைக்குழுவில் முக்கிய அங்கமாக திகழ்கிறார்.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has appointed popular playback singer Kalaimamani Malathy Lakshman as a Syndicate Member of the Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University, a state-run institution committed to nurturing and promoting music and the arts.
Malathy Lakshman has expressed her happiness and pride at being included in the newly constituted Syndicate, which comprises senior government officials, elected representatives, artistes, and academicians.
In this connection, Malathy Lakshman met the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. M. K. Stalin, at the Secretariat. She conveyed her gratitude for being appointed as a Syndicate Member of the Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University and received the Chief Minister’s greetings.
Speaking about her appointment, she said, “This significant recognition given by the government brings me great enthusiasm and motivation. I will offer all possible contributions to strengthen the field of music with everyone’s support and inspire students pursuing music and other art forms.”
A prominent playback and stage singer, Malathy Lakshman has rendered numerous super-hit songs. She is also a key member of the Lakshman Sruthi musical troupe, which is being successfully run by her husband, Lakshman, for the past four decades.
