DMHSS Alumni Reunion 2026 – 1996–1997 Batch

மதுரை பசுமலையில் உள்ள தேவசகாயம் மெட்ரிகுலேஷன் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளியின் முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்களின் சந்திப்பு, சுமார் 30 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு, 21 ஜூன் 2026 அன்று ஹோட்டல் ராயல் கோர்ட்டில் (Hotel Royal Court) இனிதே நடைபெற்றது.
பள்ளியின் தாளாளர் திரு. எடிசன் ராஜா அவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு விழாவை சிறப்பித்தார். முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் இணைந்து அவருக்கு பொன்னாடை அணிவித்து கௌரவித்தனர்.
முன்னாள் தலைமை ஆசிரியை திருமதி தனலட்சுமி மற்றும் துணை தலைமை ஆசிரியை திருமதி தங்கமணி ஆகியோரின் முன்னிலையில் பல ஆசிரியர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு நிகழ்வை மேலும் சிறப்பித்தனர்.
மாணவர்களும், அவர்களது குடும்பத்தினரும் இணைந்து ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்தி நன்றியை வெளிப்படுத்தினர். பல ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு ஆசிரியர்களும் மாணவர்களும் ஒன்றுகூடி பழைய நினைவுகளை பகிர்ந்து கொண்டது அனைவருக்கும் நெகிழ்ச்சியையும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும் அளித்தது.
நிகழ்வில் நேரில் கலந்து கொள்ள முடியாத ஆசிரியர்களும் வெளிநாடுகளில் வாழும் நண்பர்களும் காணொலி வாயிலாக இணைந்து தங்களது வாழ்த்துகளையும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர். YouTube Live Streaming மூலமாகவும் பலர் நிகழ்வைக் கண்டு மகிழ்ந்தனர்.
நண்பர் சரவணபாலனின் புதல்விகள் விண்மிதாஸ்ரீ மற்றும் ரஷ்மிகாஸ்ரீ வழங்கிய பரதநாட்டிய நிகழ்ச்சி அனைவரின் பாராட்டையும் பெற்றது.
நினைவுப் பரிசுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டு ஆசிரியர்கள், மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் குடும்பத்தினருடன் புகைப்படங்கள் எடுக்கப்பட்டன.
நிகழ்வின் சிறப்பு அம்சமாக அனைவரும் ஒன்றாக பேருந்தில் பள்ளிக்குச் சென்று தாங்கள் பயின்ற வகுப்பறைகள், வளாகம் மற்றும் பள்ளி சூழலை மீண்டும் கண்டுகளித்து பழைய நினைவுகளை மீட்டெடுத்தனர்.
முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் பள்ளியின் தற்போதைய தலைமை ஆசிரியர் திரு. L. S. கணேஷ் அவர்களை சந்தித்து கௌரவித்ததுடன் பள்ளிக்கான நினைவுப் பரிசையும் வழங்கினர்.
பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் ஆசிரியர்கள், மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் குடும்பத்தினர் இணைந்து குழு புகைப்படம் எடுத்துக் கொண்டனர்.
தேசிய கீதத்துடன் இந்நிகழ்வு இனிதே நிறைவுற்றது.
“விதைகள் மரங்களானதில் மண்ணுக்கு மட்டும் பெருமையில்லை;
விதை விதைத்தவருக்கும் அந்தப் பெருமை சேரும்.”
எங்கள் வாழ்வில் அழியாத கல்விச் செல்வத்தை விதைத்து வழிகாட்டிய அன்பு ஆசிரியர்களுக்கும்,
எப்போதும் அரணாக நின்ற பள்ளி நிர்வாகத்திற்கும்
எங்களது மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகள்.

DMHSS Alumni Reunion 2026 – 1996–1997 Batch

Hotel Royal Court.
A reunion of alumni and teachers from Devasakayam Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Pasumalai, Madurai, was held delightfully at Hotel Royal Court on June 21, 2026—marking a gathering after nearly 30 years.
The school’s Correspondent, Mr. Edison Raja, graced the occasion with his presence. The alumni honored him by draping a ponnadai (ceremonial shawl) around his shoulders.
Many teachers, including former Headmistress Mrs. Dhanalakshmi and Deputy Headmistress Mrs. Thangamani, attended the event, adding to its significance.
Alumni and their families paid their respects to the teachers and expressed their gratitude. The gathering of teachers and students after so many years, sharing old memories, brought joy and a sense of nostalgia to everyone present.
Teachers unable to attend in person and friends living abroad joined via video call to share their greetings and happiness. Many others enjoyed the event through the YouTube live stream.
A Bharatanatyam performance by Vinmithasri and Rashmikasri—daughters of alumnus Saravanabalan—won everyone’s appreciation.
Commemorative gifts were distributed, and photographs were taken featuring teachers, students, and their families.
As a special highlight of the event, everyone traveled together by bus to the school, where they revisited their classrooms and the campus, reliving cherished memories.
The alumni met the school’s current Headmaster, Mr. L. S. Ganesh, honored him, and presented a commemorative gift to the school.

The event concluded delightfully with the National Anthem.
